Cameroon: A 53 km section of the Kribi-Grand Zambi road is expected to be commissioned in March 2021. The project is financed by the African Development Bank and by public funds. This road infrastructure on the National Road n°22 aims to facilitate the accessibility of the deep-water port of Kribi.

Benin: Creation of the Observatory for the Quality of Financial Services, aiming at strengthening the attractiveness of the financial system and contributing to business climate improvement. Field of action: credit institutions, decentralized financial systems, electronic money institutions, insurance companies and the Post Office of Benin.

Cameroon: The Philippine company lnternational Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) takes over the concession of the multipurpose terminal of the port of Kribi, with a capacity of 1.2 million tons of products per year.

Ghana: Amandi Holdings Ltd will build a 102 km section of the Western Railway Line connecting the port of Takoradi and the Huni valley. The contract includes the building of stations as well as the delivery of two freight locomotives and 64 ore transport wagons. Investment: 560 M USD. The project remains subject to Parliament's approval.

Ethiopia: Commissioning of the “Bahir Dar Industrial Park”. Location: Bahir Dar (Amhara region, north of Addis Ababa). Investment: $ 60M (China). Activities: textiles.

In Burkina Faso, Faso Energy has commissioned the country's first photovoltaic solar panel manufacturing plant. Location: Kossodo industrial zone. Investment: $ 5.3 million. Production capacity: 60 to 100 panels per day. Unit capacity of the panels: 260 to 330 watts, or a production capacity of 80 to 120 MW per year. Technology of 5 bus bars on the cells. Production intended for the Burkinabé and African market in general. Jobs created: 170 direct and 1,200 indirect.

Namibia: The African Development Bank has published a report on the commissioning of the new container terminal at the port of Walvis Bay, which has been operational since August 2019. This terminal has a 600m quay and is equipped with 4 cranes. By adding the additional 750,000 TEUs of this new terminal, Walvis Bay now has a capacity of over 1MEVP.
